Here are the easy steps to create a temporary WP admin account for our Support to quickly troubleshoot your site and then remove it once you\u2019ve received the support you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMPORTANT: Be sure that you have a backup of your site before giving access.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

1. Navigate to the Users<\/strong> menu and click the Add New <\/strong>button<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2. Enter these values for the new user details:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Username:<\/strong> support@wpmoose.com
Email:<\/strong> support@wpmoose.com
Send User Notification:<\/strong> Checked
Role:<\/strong> Administrator<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, go ahead and open up your email with our support team. In your reply, you can copy and paste the Username <\/strong>and Password <\/strong>from your form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once all of these details have been added, and you\u2019ve copied the credentials to share with support, go ahead and click the blue Add New User<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although your site will automatically send us a notification email, we strongly recommend that you copy and send your password in a quick reply, as your site may not be able to send the email.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

3. Deleting the Temporary User<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After you\u2019ve received the support you need, you\u2019ll most likely want to delete the WordPress user you\u2019ve created in the step above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do that, you\u2019ll need to reopen the WordPress Users page by clicking on Users \u00bb All Users<\/strong> in the left menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, simply hover over the user you want to delete. This will display an additional menu of options. Within these options, click Delete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After selecting the Delete option, you\u2019ll see a confirmation page. You\u2019ll need to click Confirm Deletion<\/strong> to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
